Hello! My name is Maria. I was born in Croatia and grew up in Serbia. I lived for almost 5 years in Ireland and recently have moved back to Croatia.
My native language is Serbian and I speak English fluently at a C2 level. I know a bit of Spanish and Swedish on the side, but nothing to brag about :)
When away from iTalki, I'm busy being a vegetable farmer and living la vida loca in the countryside on a small farm. Besides growing food, I am passionate about exploring nature's wonders, environmentalism and sustainability.教学经验
I have gained valuable experience working as a tutor here on iTalki for a few years now. For me, it's all about communication and being flexible. I'm patient, willing to listen and help you with anything you might be struggling with, to the best of my knowledge. It all depends on the student. First I like to conduct a needs analysis to determine your level, reasons for studying English and goals you would like to reach.

I really enjoyed the lesson with Maria :) It’s easy to talk with her, and the atmosphere in class was calm and supportive. I liked that she corrected my mistakes and suggested different ways to say things I didn’t know. I also appreciated that Maria guided the lesson with questions and listened attentively :)
