We did some exercises to help me understand Tagalog spoken at normal speed. Difficult for a beginner, but important if I want to understand the language!

There is a little piece of advice about corrections. Most part of the language is acquired unconsciously, hence no matter how many times you correct to someone, the error will remain until the another person create an association with sounds, images, memories.Mostly it is an unvoluntary association process.Instead you as a teacher might use the "mistake" in a proper way.E.g If student say "my car are* red" you can say "oh I have a motorcycle and also I have a car but by my car is black".The more natural, the better.Awarness about the mistake happend straight away and likely the mistake doesn't remain longer.
