I am a native English speaker, raised and schooled in Canada.
My educational background is mainly in science. I speak some Chinese, which helps Chinese people learning English feel comfortable with me.
Over the years I have traveled much on business and for pleasure and have had many adventures. I have met and worked with many people of different ethnicity, and acquired a fairly wide range of interests. I am quite used to talking to people who are speaking English as a second language.教学经验
Although I have taught oral English in Schools on a couple of occasions in the past, most of my working experience is commercial and industrial so that my life and language experience goes well beyond that of the classroom. This is likely to be of great help to those who are trying to learn English to use as a second language in business or industry and want some help with it. In addition, I have engaged in activities in a second language myself so that I have first- hand experience with the challenges involved. I am willing to be flexible and adapt to the needs of the student as far as possible. (this includes time slots. slots) Students preparing talks or essays in English or wanting to go over assignments should find talking to me helpful. I might be of more help to people in business or industry who need to prepare talks, plans, or reports in English, as I have been there and done that. I have also edited articles for publication in various journals so that I consider I have a reasonable command of written and spoken English. I invite potential students to talk to me about their various needs and I will see what I can do to help them.英语课程
