Keng Malisa

I've been studying Thai with Malisa for over a year now, and I have enjoyed every lesson. Malisa is a very professional, reliable, and knowledgeable teacher. We've had conversations about every possible topic that you can imagine, which is one of my favourite things about our lessons. We always have a plan, but if she feels like there's something that I want to talk about more, she's always ready to go down that path with me :)

I have been studying Thai with kruu Malisa for almost a year now and I can confidently say that she has been one of the best educators that I have ever met. Every time you enter her classroom she greets you with a smile and than continues to teach you with her beautifully organized lesson plans. In this short time she has tough me to be able to read and speak Thai to a point that I wouldn’t have thought possible the previous year. I really enjoyed the level of nuance in the lesson. I got to ask many nuanced questions about synonyms and practical application, and highly specific use cases, and was consistently met with well thought out answers and patience for my endless curiosity. Looking forward to the next lesson - and especially excited about the depth that I’m able to learn the language with.

I couldn’t give enough positive reviews. The patience and kindness shown makes all the difference in a learning environment and I feel so lucky to have found such a wonderful teacher. I started from a complete beginners level knowing absolutely nothing but at no point have I been made to feel less or lacking knowledge, instead only encouragement and words of praise for my attempts. It is always a pleasure to speak with Keng. She provides me a list of words and a topic that we are going to talk about in the next lesson so that I can prepare and get hte most out of our lesson.
