Keng Malisa

I've been studying Thai with Malisa for over a year now, and I have enjoyed every lesson. Malisa is a very professional, reliable, and knowledgeable teacher. We've had conversations about every possible topic that you can imagine, which is one of my favourite things about our lessons. We always have a plan, but if she feels like there's something that I want to talk about more, she's always ready to go down that path with me :)

I have been studying Thai with kruu Malisa for almost a year now and I can confidently say that she has been one of the best educators that I have ever met. Every time you enter her classroom she greets you with a smile and than continues to teach you with her beautifully organized lesson plans. In this short time she has tough me to be able to read and speak Thai to a point that I wouldn’t have thought possible the previous year. I'm so thrilled with how my first lesson went. Thai feels intimidating to me as someone who learned some Chinese and therefore has some tones ingrained. But my first lesson was so comfortable and I feel really excited to work together longterm. I was given space to express myself so that the lessons could be tailored to who I am as a person, and I felt really heard and seen - but still challenged to try things even when I felt shy/nervous. A beautiful balance between challenging you to grow while also creating a safe space for you to stumble without fear.

Wow such an incredible teacher! Quickly adapts to my level and was great energy, very helpful. Can't wait for next lesson!
