Keng Malisa

I've been studying Thai with Malisa for over a year now, and I have enjoyed every lesson. Malisa is a very professional, reliable, and knowledgeable teacher. We've had conversations about every possible topic that you can imagine, which is one of my favourite things about our lessons. We always have a plan, but if she feels like there's something that I want to talk about more, she's always ready to go down that path with me :)

I have been studying Thai with kruu Malisa for almost a year now and I can confidently say that she has been one of the best educators that I have ever met. Every time you enter her classroom she greets you with a smile and than continues to teach you with her beautifully organized lesson plans. In this short time she has tough me to be able to read and speak Thai to a point that I wouldn’t have thought possible the previous year. I have some familiarity with Thai language, having studied it long ago. But I'm really not confident with my speaking and I forget a lot of vocabulary. Khun Keng is very patient and helps me work through a lot of useful phrases and writes it in English and Thai. It's really helpful for me to be able to try sentences and then ask questions abut words I don't know and have Keng explain them and write them down. She is a great person to practice speaking with and is very kind and patient.

I couldn’t give enough positive reviews. The patience and kindness shown makes all the difference in a learning environment and I feel so lucky to have found such a wonderful teacher. I started from a complete beginners level knowing absolutely nothing but at no point have I been made to feel less or lacking knowledge, instead only encouragement and words of praise for my attempts. Malisa (Keng) is an incredibly patient and supportive teacher. She is very kind, explains things clearly, and has excellent English, which makes learning feel easy and relaxed. She is especially good at encouraging you to speak and gently correcting mistakes in a constructive way, so you never feel embarrassed. Her lessons are well structured but still flexible, and she adapts to your level and goals. Learning with her is both effective and enjoyable, and I always feel more confident after each session. Learning with her is relaxing and really fun.

Phi Keng is amazing!!!! I’ve learned so so much over the past couple years with her. Highly recommend!
