Dikshant Rajbhandari

Lessons with Dikshant are often the highlight of my day! I am going to visit family in a village in Nepal soon, and this lesson we practiced culturally relevant conversation topics - not only am I getting better at speaking Nepali but also learning what to talk about. Dikshant is a fantastic and engaging teacher, always on time and goes above and beyond to share helpful resources. Our classes have helped me develop authentic relationships my in-laws, and I am very grateful!

Dikshant's lessons have, so far, been truly excellent. He is empathetic to an absolute beginner such as myself and his impeccable English is very comforting. His lessons are light hearted and entertaining whilst remaining productive and insightful. His resources, though limited by the fact that Nepali isn't a popular language to learn, accompany the lessons and his teaching style brilliantly, always adding to the learning experience. Dikshant is passionate about sharing his language with the world and after a lesson with him you will be too.

Dikshant went in depth about the history of different foods and temples during our conversation role play activity which I appreciated a lot! He has made learning Nepali very fun and engaging so far.

I've completed 10 lessons with Dikshant in preparation for a long visit to Nepal. He is an engaging, patient, and thoughtful language teacher. Lessons were planned well and tailored to my needs, and he was generous with his time, ensuring that all my questions were answered. He set homework and shared other online resources, which helped with practice between lessons. He created a safe learning space; I felt no judgement when he guided me through my (many!) mistakes. I would thoroughly recommend Dikshant to anyone wanting to learn Nepali!

Dikshant dai helped me with understanding the rules in Nepali this lesson. He ensures that the lesson pace is okay for you and asks if you have any questions after each topic is completed. This is my second lesson with him and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed his lesson structure and his patience! Highly recommend him as a teacher :)
