Koji

Koji さん is fun to talk to, and the gentle and kind way he helps correct my mistakes allows me to relax. Even though I am old enough to be his father, we have similar life experiences and interests, so talking with him is very enjoyable. Plus, since I live in Tennessee and he lives in Arizona, scheduling time for lessons is more convenient for both of us.

Koji-sensei has been fantastic! His casual style of teaching makes lessons feel very relaxing and help me build confidence in developing my conversational skills. Every lesson feels fresh, and he does a great job making them feel like natural dialogues while also providing clear instruction on improving vocabulary and grammar. He also includes all the notes from the lesson in a structured doc which makes it convenient to refer back to and review later on. I'm looking forward to continuing to take these lessons!

I highly recommend Koji-sensei! I've had three lessons with him so far. He's very easy to talk to and is great at preparing interesting topics and adapting to the student's level. We generally start with 15 minutes or so of free talk and then move into a more structured conversation. We've discussed a variety of fun topics including basketball and differences between Japanese and American etiquette. He is supportive and encourages you to talk through mistakes. Koji先生、ありがとうございます！

I was amazed. Please book with Koji. I only took a trial lesson, and I got more than double my money’s worth, because he’s a encouraging, patient, and really understanding teacher. I plan to book more and more sessions in the future.
