Thu Le

Thu is the best teacher i have had on Italki in any language. She is not only great at teaching but works well to adapt to your individual learning styleIf you like customized notes she types amazingly fast and makes updates before her lessons. She really works hard for her money and has a great personality. Its amazing how far she has taken me i really feel i can speak a language i once thought was impossible.

Thu was very friendly and cooperative and quickly adapted her speed and vocabulary to my level. I enjoyed our simple conversations and the cultural insights she provided and I found her enthusiasm very motivating.

Great lesson with Thu! We talked about cold weather and snow in the US, Christmas, New Year's resolutions and going to the dentist. Thu asked me about the personalities in my family. We also did an exercise about "reserving a hotel room". I feel pretty comfortable answering questions because we practice every lesson. Thu is good at asking follow-up questions to get more information, and forcing me to talk about different things!

Great lesson with Thu! We started with small talk about weather and Christmas. After that, we learned about passive voice sentences. Thu also explained the different way of saying "before" and "after", which depends on whether it connects a verb or a noun. Thu's explanations were really clear, I understood the new material well. Thu had good energy!

Thu Le was an excellent teacher. She was patient with my beginner skills and taught me basic concepts well. She left me with things to practice and a frame for the next session.
