The best teacher. Period. :)

Honestly, if you paid for a high-priced formal Italian course, you would not get a better, more organized, more well-thought out lesson. In all of the lessons I've taken on italki (in a half dozen or so languages), I don't think I've had a teacher work harder during the lesson. When the lesson ended, I felt like I should pay a second time to make it fair!!!

10 minutes into our first lesson I knew that Giuliana is a perfect teacher for me. She is intelligent, organized, friendly, professional and yet informal, and communicates in clear, precise language. She understands the complexities and challenges that the Italian language presents for someone from an English speaking background, and she provides relevant and specific explanations and information directly addressing the issue. Until now, I have only studied Italian using online tools and books, with no personal interaction. I had no prior expectations or plans before my lesson with Giuliana, but I was so impressed that now I hope to take classes weekly, to augment my online learning and exercises.
