Hi! My name is Kryst. I am American, but I have lived in Europe for over 20 years. At the moment, I am living with my small dog, Gipsy, by the beach. Some of my hobbies are travelling and learning languages. I speak German, Spanish, Dutch and French. I believe that you can not truly know a country and its people, if you can not understand the language.教学经验
I am a Cambridge DELTA instructor and an American licensed teacher. I also have a degree in Business Administration. For over 15 years, I have been a General and Business English instructor in Europe and the Middle East. I have extensive experience preparing students for the PET, KET, IELTS, BEC and other proficiency exams. Since I have remained a language learner myself, I realize how important is to have an instructor that is creative, understanding and professional. I know that I possess these qualities.我提供的课程和我的教学风格
Learning should be enjoyable and beneficial. For each lesson, I set a language objective which should be reached by the end of the session. I try to incorporate the use of all skills in every lesson - listening, reading, writing and a heavy emphasis on speaking. Since each student learns differently, I cater my lessons to each individual's learning style and needs. I try to find learning material that is entertaining and relevant for my lessons such as videos, podcasts or other online sources.我的教学资料

All the lessons are super interactive since Kryst uses good materials such as files, and videos. She also gives me homework to practice new words at home. I'm delighted to have classes with Kryst.

Kryst is a helpful and knowledgeable teacher and an amazing person. I really love having classes with her. She is always prepared for the lesson and every time we cover a new fascinating topic where I can expand my vocabulary, and practice listening and speaking. The lessons are fun and customized. I've already tried a few teachers on Italki and can say that Kryst is the best.

I've taken 5 conversational classes with Kryst so far and she's helped me a lot. I'm taking the C1 CAE exam in June and I've been practising with her all the speaking part. I don't get as nervous as I used to and I'm becoming better at expressing my thoughts in a certain amount of time. She's super patient and gentle and her tips are very useful. I highly recommend having her as a teacher.
