I'm an English teacher in Adelaide, Australia. I also speak a little bit of Japanese and a tiny bit of Mandarin (I'm working on it!). I play the guitar and sing, and I'm learning the piano. I cook, I garden, I do yoga and I run.教学经验
I've taught for eight years in an adult education college. I work mostly with people who have come to live in Australia from other countries, but I've also taught international students. I've taught beginners through to advanced students. As well as the basics - speaking, listening, reading, writing and so on - I've done a lot or work on resumes and preparing for job interviews. I love all levels and all aspects of English. I particular, I love working with people who have advanced English but feel that they want to iron out some of the creases.我提供的课程和我的教学风格
My style is dependent on what the student wants and needs. I use a wide range of reading and listening material from different sources - TV, podcasts, radio, news sites, books, songs etc. I blend careful preparation with an ability to change plans when the student has questions or something unexpected comes up. I have a focus on developing independent learning skills so that students can continue to improve on their own. I also encourage the use of recording technology to aid students in identifying and working on issues in their own speech. I have taught face-to-face and online.我的教学资料

Accomplished lecturerI teach classes of 20 - 25 students using a blend of face-to-face and online delivery. My role also has a leadership aspect, so I have overseen the development of learning materials and assessment tools and built online learning environments. I have taught all levels from Certificate 1 (beginner) to Diploma (advanced). I have worked with various student cohorts including skilled migrants, jobseekers and international students.

Ben is so nice teacher and person. He has compassion, also understands about students who are struggling to learn. At the same time he has humor and interesting topics which each student is interested in. He makes us motivated to keep on learning.
