Hi! My name is Maxim, but please, call me Max. I'm originally from a small country town in Australia called Emerald. I love traveling and meeting people from different countries. I lived and taught English in Indonesia (Bali and Bekasi) for three years. My number one passion is surfing. I'm currently saving money for an epic surf/teaching adventure in Indonesia and Central/South America. I love learning languages. I speak Indonesian and I'm currently learning Spanish. My other passions and hobbies include DJing (house, disco and pop music), black coffee, red wine, dark chocolate, tennis, basketball and cold beer.

I've been teaching English to adults and children from all over the world since 2019. I'm currently working as a Primary School substitute teacher, working with children from ages 5-11. I enjoy teaching because I like interacting with people from different countries. After living abroad and teaching English for many years, I've learned how to perfect my communication. I can grade my language depending on the level of my student. For beginner students, I speak slowly and clearly with emphasis on simple language. For more advanced students, I speak at more of a natural pace. For those who like a challenge, I can even speed up my pace and use native expressions.我提供的课程和我的教学风格
I like my lessons to be flexible, free flowing and fun. The focus of the lesson will all depend on your needs and preferences. If you simply want an opportunity to practice speaking English in a free conversation, I can facilitate the conversation and give you feedback and corrections. Most of my students prefer this style as they feel like it's more fun and social. If you prefer a more focused lesson, I can prepare some learning materials/activities and work through them with you. If you have a particular task you need help with, for example an English essay/article, we can look at it together and work through the issues.证书
TEFL - Foundation TEFL - 2021Obtaining this qualification involved extensive study on the English language and teaching methods. I was required to pass online quizzes and submit sample lesson plans for assessment. This qualification enables me to teach English as a second language to adults and children.

It was so much fun talking with him!
It didn't feel like a lesson at all because it was so much fun!
We talked non-stop for 1 hour but he managed to take notes for me and taught me how I could have said things in a more natural way and it was impressive!!

Max is quite the Teacher. He is always attentive to what I say and at the end of the class he tries to make me see where I made mistakes and makes me try to correct them myself. That is great!!! I'm learning a lot from him.
