Hi, I’m Zen from South Africa—a certified EFL teacher specializing in Cambridge English and IELTS preparation for adults. With 5+ years of experience, I help students master exam strategies and fluent, natural English through engaging discussions (I love science, travel, and gaming too!). As a teacher, I am friendly, I listen to my students closely and encourage them to think about different topics. I believe that learning is an active process, and the focus should be on my students, not on the teacher. I love doing communicative activities, and get bored doing long worksheets of practice material! I encourage lots of reading, and talking- but only if the student feels ready. I also really enjoy doing as many video lessons as possible. I believe that the classroom is a safe place, where it's all right to make mistakes and be yourself. My lessons will usually follow a structure based on the Cambridge system, which is aimed at enhancing the learning experience. I enjoy using Cambridge materials, as well as materials from Linguahouse, which includes video lessons.我的教学资料

Competency in IELTS and Cambridge exams - Campus Uk - 2024I taught at Campus UK Language centre in Phnom Phen, Cambodia for two years, where we were trained to teach and mark the Cambridge exams and received training in IELTS preparation.
