Hello everyone! My name is Takashi.
みなさんこんにちは、タカシです。
I was born and raised in Japan.
私は日本で生まれ育ちました。
I have lived in America as an exchange college student for 9 months.
大学４年の時にアメリカに９ヶ月間、交換留学生として留学していた経験があります。
So even though I still constantly make mistakes in English, I can communicate with you in English as well.
ですので、まだまだ英語でのミスは多いですが、英語を話すこともできます。
I've completed my master degree in Informatics, after which I've worked for a Japanese company as an engineer.

I have an Italki teacher who I look up to, and she helped me a lot with my English.

高司さん is an engaging, understands grammar well and speaks clearly. Most importantly, he has infinite patience to listen to and decipher the word salad that comes out of my mouth to formulate a sensible response and guide me towards proper sentence construction.
It seems time and time again that one can ace multiple choice exercises consistently, but when it comes to practical output, the brain just seizes. It is wonderful to work with someone who understands the challenge well and methodically walks you through the process to thaw that brain freeze.
