Jessie–Tutor(TOPIK)

A very helpful lesson, focused on specific TOPIK questions with helpful hints on how to think and approach such questions and also introducing new and old vocabulary with more examples or hanja description. This kind of lessons is very engaging and fun!

What would I do with out Jessie 쌤?! I have been working with Jessie to prepare for TOPIK 2 and so far have had such an wonderful experience. Jessie has a wealth of knowledge about Korean language, grammar, TOPIK test taking know-hows, as well as Korean culture that is truly impressive. What's even more impressive is her ability to teach complex topics in a way that is easily understandable. On top of that, Jessie also has an incredibly lovely and friendly personality that makes every class enjoyable. Throughout the time that I have spent studying with Jessie, she has displayed an unwavering commitment to my success and has cheered me along at every step along the way. With Jessie, I feel that I am set up for success and will be able to achieve all of my language goals.

Today was my first lesson on italki. I was a little nervous at first, but Jessie 선생님 was very bright, kind, and patient, which made me feel comfortable right away. She helped me organize what I want to learn and how we can structure future lessons, so it was a very productive and meaningful session. It was also clear that she is very experienced and knowledgeable!! I’m really looking forward to continuing lessons with her. Thank you so much!🙌

I've been taking classes with Jessie 쌤 for almost five years and have achieved levels that I only imagined in the beginning. Despite my experience in self-study, working with other tutors, and taking university classes, she is the by far the best Korean teacher I've ever had. She meets you at the level that you are in while slowly challenging you along the way. She embodies all the characteristics of an amazing teacher making you want to come back and learn more! You won't regret her as a teacher.

We continued to look into listening questions for TOPIK. Focusing this time on the importance of what to pay attention during the audio track to get which part of the dialogue is important for getting the correct answer
