I think the best way to learn a language is to have an interest in it and its culture. I believe that teaching should have the student in focus. I think it's important to find a way to incorporate your interests and make sure you reach your language goals. I always try my best to be patient and create a safe space in my lessons where it's always okay to make mistakes.

Bachelor & Master of Education, with 8 years experience in learning. Informal and fun is the focus! As a teacher I am a huge disciple of informal learning. I don't believe that grammar books and filling in blanks on worksheets is the way in which a language, or anything for that matter, should be learned. It is neither fun, nor in my experience particularly effective. Of course, as a beginner, some basic grammar is needed, but as soon as my students have enough vocabulary to start using the language in meaningful sentences and conversations, I seek to activate this language in my student in a fun and engaging way. Having a good time, having fun while learning, as well as keeping my teaching goal oriented towards the needs of my student is of uttermost importance.

Danish for Beginners - Learn Danish with a Friendly, Fun & Experienced Native Teacher I have been teaching for five years — both Danish and English — in different parts of the world. I have taught Art to children in India, English to young women in India, and Danish to children at a folkeskole in Denmark. I am currently teaching Danish online to adults who wish to learn the language and potentially move to Denmark. I work with both beginners and more advanced students. I also have experience preparing students for PD1, PD2, PD3, and SP (Studieprøven), in case you need to pass these exams in Denmark.
