I have also organised interactive language cafes in Tallinn, Estonia, to help foreigners improve their language skills. So, although I'm not a teacher, I have experience tutoring and supporting someone else's learning process. My goal is to encourage my students to speak and build their confidence in learning the language as Estonian is known to be one of the hardest languages in the world, which can be quite intimidating for the beginner. Teaching has always been my favourite job and hobby. I love developing new materials and new pedagogical approaches. In my daily life, I primarily teach statistics and bioinformatics to scientists. However, I also really love teaching languages and have been sporadically teaching private students in Estonian and English since I was 19. My Bachelor's degree was in linguistics, with quite a lot of focus on foreign language didactics. I am fascinated by how everybody learns languages differently and how I as a teacher can adapt.
