Certified teacher with over 7 years of experience My name is Esther, I'm a certified English teacher, and in 2019 I started tutoring French. I've lived in different countries (France, Spain, UK, Canada, India, Germany, currently Sweden) and I'm passionate about languages. I'm patient and supportive. I do know that mistakes are part of the process and I offer a humane approach. I like to have a friendly relationship with my students as long as there's mutual respect. IMPORTANT POLICY Italki doesn't allow less than 24h cancellations but I forgive 2/year because I know that sometimes things happen (sickness, emergency) but I cannot allow more as an hour not taught is an hour not paid. CURRENTLY NOT TAKING NEW STUDENTS FOR ENGLISH OR KIDS. NOT PREPARING FOR EXAMS EITHER. Also: my MATERIAL is in ENGLISH. I organize my lessons according to your needs, the level you want to reach or the structures you want to review. I use a variety of materials (lessons, articles, podcasts, videos, songs...) and techniques (learn by doing, learn by repetition...). To give you an idea, my students starting French from scratch reach a CONVERSATIONAL LEVEL after around 7-8 months PROVIDED they take 1h class per week and are willing to do some homework. Usually count in average 30 hours of regular lessons to reach a full A2. And bear in mind that regularity is more important than quantity!
