Certified teacher with 12+ years experience I am a certified teacher for German as a foreign language (Goethe-Institut) and hold an M.A. in Chinese Studies. I’m fluent in German, Chinese (HSK 5), English (BULATS C2), and French (B2), and I am currently learning other languages to broaden my linguistic perspective. I have been teaching languages since 2013. Ironically I was never a good student in school, because teachers tried to fill my brain with information I didn't even feel like I needed. Thus, I try to be the teacher I always wish I had.

Goethe certificate in methodology and didactics: Trained teacher with over 8 years of experience I am very lucky because I love my profession. But passion alone is not enough to be a good teacher. You also need didactic, methodical and pedagogical skills. For this reason I decided to attend the distance learning course "DaF Methodik und Didaktik" at the Goethe Institute in June 2019. I successfully passed the final exam. I am convinced that teachers need to be constantly trained, too. So they are able to offer their students the best teaching performance.
