I just finished my first lesson with Ana Cristina and she is a fantastic teacher! She has a detailed knowledge of how exactly to produce the sounds found in Quechua that do not exist in European languages, and can explain how to do them with ease. She is patient, and will allow you to practice at your own pace, but is also very skilled at correcting your pronunciation and providing pointers about how the suffixes work and how the vowels shift. Truly a talented teacher. I liked my lesson so much I bought another five!

Professor Hermenegildo is excellent!! I began with zero knowledge/skills and after a few weeks now beginning to put together small sentences and understand multi-cultural aspects of the language and it's connection to the Andean Cosmovision. Truly powerful and Hermenegildo's presence is so unique. He's also extremely kind and makes learning very fun. I highly recommend him and look forward to the next year together!

Jhon is an amazing professor and I would recommend him to anyone! His teaching methods are sound and easy to follow, while also providing depth of knowledge and detailed explanations. Kay runashimi yachachikka sumakmi kan. This Kichwa teacher is a true gem! I do not speak Spanish well enough to learn Kichwa from Spanish-speaking teacher. It has been a serious challenge over the last eight years to find a fully-qualified Kichwa instructor who is fluent in my native English language and provides intermediate-level Kichwa tutoring using English. I also very much appreciate his advanced understanding of how this language integrates the Andean cosmovision and sounds of nature. I feel fortunate indeed to have found just the right teacher at the right time to guide me toward fluency. Competent professionally-trained English-speaking Kichwa instructors are a rare find outside university walls.

I had a fun first lesson with Florina. We did introductions and then covered some basic phrases that one might use to introduce oneself in Quechua. Florina took time to explain some of the word construction which is very different to Spanish (and English) including explaining the infixes and postfixes. Thank you!
