In 2023, I decided to formally study Spanish language and literature to ensure my teaching was based on proper pedagogy and professionalism and not just on my personal experience. I learned an indigenous language (Mayo) here in Mexico and it was a bit difficult at first but I was able to communicate with these people easily afterwards. I do not take written or oral exams.
