Mbalenhle is an excellent instructor. She was very welcoming, accommodating and meticulous in her methodology of teaching. As I am an average Zulu speaker, she was well adept at understanding and focusing on my requirements and she was quick in identifying and developing the lesson towards my specific needs. I would highly recommend her lessons as they were very interactive and highly engaging.

It was a really nice lesson with Siphokuhle. Zulu is the most spoken language of Southern Africa and it's also very different from Indo-European languages, having an extremely hard pronunciation for someone who isn't used to consonant clicks but I think we managed just fine. She is punctual, well prepared and willing to help and make sure you are getting the pronunciation right before advancing to new topics. We also reviewed some basic greetings and even practised more pronunciation with some tongue twisters during the class. It was a fun lesson and I'm looking forward to our next meeting and to keep on learning Zulu!

I have been taking isiZulu lessons now with Zinhle for several months and the quality of the course keeps improving. Zinhle makes sure that the content of each lesson is personalized and is very flexible when topics come up that are not directly related to the course material. I had a pretty silly reason to book a one-hour isiZulu lesson with Anele — I really wanted to learn the lyrics to “The Circle of Life” from The Lion King, and to find out what the words meant. She was very warm, engaged, and organized in her thoughts, and the lesson was totally fascinating!
