I had a test at school today. It was very difficult and I was disappointed. On my way home, I found very cute earrings for sale at the station. It was gold and sparkly. I really liked them so I bought them as a reward. I'd like to use it next time I hage out with my friend.

I had dinner with my high school friends today. It had been a while since we last met, so we had a great time catching up and talking about all sorts of things! We also went to karaoke, which was a lot of fun. I’m not a big fan of summer, but I’ve added more things I want to do during the summer break, and I’m really looking forward to it!

I'm so tired today, too. The train stopped because it rained so much. I'm going home late. This season is summer, but I'm confused because it's raining a lot. There are a lot of things to look forward to during summer vacation, so I hope it doesn't rain much. I'm going to carry my umbrella with me for a while.

The sky was overcast and bleak today, but the heat and humidity were still oppressive. Dad brought home the metronome he ordered for me online this morning. None of us knew how to use it. It has a left slider, a right winding key, and a center hand that sways like an inverse pendulum. It resembles a tumbler in a way. We were stumped until we noticed a second slider on the hand itself, moving vertically to adjust the speed. The scale behind it is called the Tempo Scale – units I don't understand yet. I'll probably need my teacher to explain it; Dad couldn't help.
