Hi, I'm struggling to translate ' poner un parte " which in Spain consists of the following: If a student does something really bad at school like offending the teacher, behaving in a disruptive way etc, teachers write it down on a piece of paper that will be sent to the student's parents. If several are written, the student could be expelled for some days. It is more serious than things that require just telling them off in class.( Is 'tell off ' the correct verb here) ???
