English tutor Alice here. A question for American English language learners....
How well do you know American English phrasal verbs? Do you know a lot of them? Do you use a lot of them?
What about prepositions? Do you know them? Do you use them? Can you say them comfortably?
Vocabulary? Can you say enough when someone asks you a question? Or do you give just a one sentence answer? Do you ever elaborate or say more? Do you feel 'Limited' in your ability to speak? Do you say the same phrases? Do you just 'Stick to what you know.'?
Are you wanting to really get better with your speaking?
Have you had a lesson with someone from the United States? Someone to teach you phrasal verbs, vocab, prepositions, slang and more?

ONE tiny detail can change EVERYTHING in Russian! 🤯🇷🇺
Think Е and Ё are basically the same letter? Think again! 👀
They look almost identical, but they can completely change the pronunciation AND meaning of a word!
💚 ВСЕ = everyone / all
→ Все пришли!
Everyone came!
💗 ВСЁ = everything
→ Я взяла всё.
I took everything.
🌤️ НЕБО = sky
→ Какое красивое небо!
What a beautiful sky!
👄 НЁБО = palate (roof of the mouth)
→ У меня болит нёбо.
The roof of my mouth hurts.
💡 GOOD TO KNOW:
Е and Ё are two different letters in the Russian alphabet!
🗣️ Е usually sounds like [ye] or indicates a soft consonant + [e].
🗣️ Ё usually sounds like [yo] or indicates a soft consonant + [o].
And here's the tricky part… 😏
Russians often write Е instead of Ё in everyday texts!
So you might see «все» when the writer actually means «всё». You have to figure it out from the context!
💬 QUICK QUIZ!
How would you say “EVERYTHING is ready” in Russian?
