Beethoven is quoted as having said that "Music is the mediator between the spiritual and the sensual life". Victor Hugo also said that "Music expresses that which cannot be said and on which it is impossible to be silent". I just launched a podcast here on italki that I'm really excited about--it's called Lyrical Language Lab and in it, I present & analyze songs with lots of meaning and imagery to help English learners improve their listening and reading skills! It's an experience that will elevate your mind, body and soul. Check out my first episode here on the song 'Angel From Motgomery' by John Prine. I'd love to know what you think :) https://www.italki.com/en/podcast/episode/xoudj5ac2nzhmgglhnvjul
