In this episode of your “Easy Spanish” podcast, I’ll talk about a controversial Spanish tradition: bullfighting and the world of bullfighting in general. I’ll also share my perspective as an anti-bullfighting advocate and explain a lot of everyday vocabulary and expressions that come from the world of bullfighting.

This episode is for B1-B2 level students who want to hear natural Spanish on topics related to Spanish culture and traditions, especially bullfighting, and expand their vocabulary. Although there is a lot of C1-C2 level vocabulary.

Japanese daily life podcast のAtsushiです。
このPodcastは、日本語を勉強しているみなさんに向けたPodcastです。


今日は札幌に行ってきました。

今ちょうどライラック祭り、というのをしていたので、札幌の大通公園に見に行きました。

僕は北海道に住んでもうすぐ1年経ちます。
ですが、恥ずかしながら、ライラックという花が、札幌市の花であるということを知りませんでした。
知ったのは最近です。

ライラックの花は、1880年ごろにイギリスから持ち込まれました。はじめは函館に植樹されたようです。

1890年ごろには、アメリカから札幌にライラックの苗が持ち込まれました。そこから札幌の街に広がりました。

昭和35年、1960年に、ライラックが札幌市の花として制定され、それ以降、きれいに咲く5月後半にライラック祭りがあるようです。

今年2023年は5/17-5/28までです。

大通公園に咲いているきれいな薄い紫色のライラックを見ることができます。そして、たくさんのカフェやバル、ワインバーなどがありました。日曜日だったということもあり、たくさんの人でした。ま、ほとんどの人が花よりだんごで、食べるのを楽しんでいました。

花よりだんごの意味はまた今度話します。
気になる人は調べてみてください！日本のことわざの1つですね。


個人的には、最近Netflixで見た日本のドラマ、"初恋"にもライラックの花が出てくるので、実際に咲いている花を見れて良かったです。香りもとても良かったです。

また今度ゆっくり話しますが、この"初恋"、とてもおもしろかったです。北海道が舞台にもなっているので、いっそう、さらに楽しめました。オススメです！
