日本に来てから和菓子を食べるのをやめられません。毎日お昼ご飯の後に必ず食べています。和菓子はケーキにくらべてヘルシーと思うかもしれませんが、そんなことはありません。確かに脂肪は洋菓子に比べてかなり少ないですが、砂糖はたくさん使われています。特に5月からは私の好きなわらび餅や水羊羹（みずようかん）などの冷たい和菓子がたくさん出てくるので、誘惑がいっぱいです。
もし、日本に来て、和菓子を食べるなら、和菓子屋さんで買うことをオススメします。和菓子はコンビニでも買うことができますが、すごく甘かったり、生クリームが入っているものが多いです。生クリームを使った和菓子もたまにはいいですが、私はあっさりした和菓子の方が好きです。
ちなみに日本のケーキもすごくおいしいです。日本にはパティシエがたくさんいるので質が高く、外国のケーキに比べて、あっさりしています。
