5 Ways to Express Happiness in English

有点 (yǒudiǎn) and 一点 (yīdiǎn) both translate to "a little" or "slightly" in English. However, they are used slightly differently in Chinese.

有点 (yǒudiǎn) is used to describe a small amount or degree of something. It is often used to describe an adjective or an adjective phrase. For example:

这个电影有点好看 (zhège diànyǐng yǒudiǎn hǎokàn) means "this movie is a little bit good-looking."
这个饭有点辣 (zhège fàn yǒudiǎn là) means "this meal is a little spicy."
一点 (yīdiǎn) is used to describe a small amount or degree of something, but it is often used to describe a noun or a verb. For example:

我想吃一点苹果 (wǒ xiǎng chī yīdiǎn píngguǒ) means "I want to eat a little bit of apples."
我会说一点中文 (wǒ huì shuō yīdiǎn zhōngwén) means "I can speak a little bit of Chinese."
In general, 一点 (yīdiǎn) is more commonly used than 有点 (yǒudiǎn) in Chinese. However, both can be used to describe a small amount or degree of something, and the choice between them depends on the context and the specific word or phrase that they are modifying.

오늘은 한국 회사에서 정말 자주 쓰이는 표현, ‘확인 부탁드립니다’에 대해 배워볼게요.

‘확인하다’는 무언가를 다시 살펴보고, 문제가 없는지 또는 필요한 내용이 빠지지 않았는지를 점검하는 것을 말해요. 영어로는 check 또는 confirm이라는 뜻이죠.

그리고 여기서 ‘부탁드립니다’는 영어로 말하면 ‘please’와 같은 표현이에요.
공손하게 무언가를 요청할 때 쓰는 말이죠. 그래서 ‘확인 부탁드립니다’는 결국
→ “Please check” 또는 “Kindly confirm”이라는 뜻이 되는 거예요.

예를 들어, 어떤 파일을 이메일로 보낸 뒤에는 이렇게 말할 수 있어요.
👉 “첨부한 문서 확인 부탁드립니다.”
이 문장은 “이거 잘 받으셨는지, 내용에 이상은 없는지 한번 봐주세요”라는 의미를 담고 있어요.
상대방에게 부담을 주지 않으면서 자연스럽게 확인을 요청할 수 있는 표현입니다.

En los libros Historia general de las cosas de Nueva España e Historia Natural de la Nueva España ya se tenían documentadas plantas y su uso medicinal, como la siempreviva usada para tratar cataratas y la flor de manita como auxiliar en problemas del corazón.

En el siglo XVI se escribió el Códice De la Cruz-Badiano y en el siglo XVII libros de medicina que hablan sobre plantas muy usadas en la actualidad, como la manzanilla y la yerbabuena. En el siglo XVIII se dictó La primera cátedra de botánica en México, con la cual se educó a los primeros estudiantes de lo que antiguamente era la Facultad de Medicina.

A final del siglo XIX se creó el Instituto Médico Nacional y, con él, el estudio científico de las plantas medicinales. En el siglo XX surgió el Instituto Mexicano para el Estudio de las Plantas Medicinales, y la etnobotánica médica que trajo consigo la formación del primer herbario de flora medicinal del país con más de 4 mil especies. Esto sirvió para tener validación científica de los usos populares de las plantas y, como resultado, productos con sus compuestos.

Existen plantas que no son inocuas: El codo de fraile, por ejemplo, es muy dañina y se utiliza mucho en productos para adelgazar.

Es importante que los médicos familiares tengan formación sobre herbolaria para conocer qué es lo que utiliza parte de la población; por ello, es valioso participar de cursos monográficos sobre medicina tradicional y herbolaria.  Así, médicos y gente de las comunidades hicieron mini-herbarios para conocer sobre estas plantas y sus compuestos, cuáles son peligrosas y cuáles son benignas.
