Adam era el último humano. En una estación espacial solitaria, era el único vestigio de una especie extinta. Una señal antigua lo llevó a un planeta habitado por alienígenas que vivían en armonía con la tecnología. Allí, encontró una comunidad que lo acogió, brindándole un sentido de pertenencia que nunca antes había experimentado.

Los alienígenas, seres pacíficos y curiosos, se fascinaron con las historias de Adam sobre la Tierra. A su vez, Adam aprendió mucho de ellos sobre su mundo, su historia y su filosofía.
