I wish somebody something (luck / a happy day/ all the best etc.)
But you cannot say I wish that something happens. We use hope in this situation.
(English Grammar in Use - Murphy)
1. sentence: hope
2. sentence: hope
Comparing I wish and I hope:
I wish you a pleasant stay here.
I hope you have a pleasant stay here.

I’d say both “hope”, but I’m not a native so wait for an English speaker!

Hope in both sentences. Wish is just the wrong verb for those expressions. I can’t quote a rule on it, sorry.

Both are hope ....hope usually uses for sth in future in compare of wish ...and wish is also possible in some situation but it needs different structure e.g I wish you a great time ...
