Hi there! I love Ishiguro. You should also try: 'Never Let Me Go'. I don't know what your level of English is, however, Ishiguro's English can be quite complex and advance. If you are intermediate or lower, I suggest reading it first in your native language and then perhaps, in English. Nonetheless, it's a great book and if your level is intermediate or upper, you should give it a try in English. A suggestion is to underline all the PHRASAL VERBS, EXPRESSIONS, COLLOCATIONS and VOCABULARY you're not familiar with in each chapter and try to figure that out. Then, at the end of each chapter, it would be great if you could write a small summary of it (even just 250-500 words). If you do that, you'll definitely be improving your English. Remember that writing and speaking and complementary to each other - if your writing is clear, then your speaking will be, too :)
