The Adventures of Captain Underpants by Dav Pilkey Chapter 15 Dr. Diaper George and Harold hid behind the van until the coast was clear. "Then, I will rise from the rubble and take over the planet!" "Only one thing can help us now," said George. "What?" asked Harold. "Rubber doggy doo-doo," said George. Harold took the fake doggy doo-doo and a slingshot from George's backpack and handed them to him. "Be careful," said Harold. "The fate of the entire planet is in your hands!" With careful and precise aim, George shot the rubber doggie doo-doo through the air and across the room. It landed with a plop! -- right at the feet of Dr. Diaper. "Yessss!" whispered George and Harold. Dr. Diaper looked down at the doo-doo between his feet and turned bright red. "Oh, dear me!" he cried. "I'm dreadfully embarrassed! Please excuse me." He began to waddle toward the restroom. "This has never happened to me before, I assure you," he said. "I - I guess with all the excitement, I just ... I just ... Oh, dear! Oh, dear!" 2024年9月28日 🇯🇵日本語日記🇯🇵 最近、懐かしい物に奪われてきました。 今週のある朝、起きて前のことを思い出します。悲しくて、嬉しくて何か消そうとしても消せない思い出が強く浮かんでいました。 それから、あるものを買いたがってきました。 バーディー・ボッツの百味ビーンズでした。 2年前にスイスの素敵なインターラーケンに働いていた時、大切な妹さんからプレゼントをもらいました。この小包の中身ではロンドンで旅行しながら買ったお土産がありました。私たちの子供の時に何回も繰り返したハリ・ポッターのあまりに、ロンドンであるハリポッター店のは当たり前だったでしよう。 ものすごく素敵なプレゼントで、今も考えるなら感動し続けます。 では、今週ハリポッターのウェブサイトでこの百味ビーンズを買いました。必ず安くなくて、子どもみたいに楽しむほかはなくても注文しました。 そして、『炎のゴブレット』の日本版を読み続けました。本の半分を超えて、夢中に読んでいますわ それに、昨日『半純血のプリンス』の映画を日本語で見ました。 それで、スチームでホグワーツレガシーを買って日本語でブレーします。 この世界の混乱と無意味さを離れるために、過去の宝を探るのはいい方法でしょう。 大人になるのは辛くて必要ですけど、心に残る自分の楽しみたい部分を捨てるのは間違いだと思うんです。

Self-Fulfilling Prophecy - To Fail or To Succeed? A self-fulfilling prophecy is an expectation or belief that can influence your behaviors, thus causing the belief to come true. The idea behind a self-fulfilling prophecy, also known as the Pygmalion effect, is that your belief about what will happen drives the actions that make that outcome ultimately come to pass. Think a moment and imagine relating the above to your English development, what will it mean? If you expect everything to go wrong, you might put in less effort or fail to take steps that could turn things around, which means that expecting the worst brings out the worst. If you expect everything to go right you might be more eager, more enthusiastic and less worried! «TEN LITTLE INDIANS» BY AGATHA CHRISTIE This detective story tells about ten people, who were appeared on the Island. As we’ll know later, every person from them has guilty of someone's death. During reading it, we can think about real crimes and punishments, people’s characters and their conscience. I am not excited this book, but I accept that it is a good classic thing. "TAI PAN" BY JAMES CLAVELL This novel opens the history of Hong Kong, but, of course, from author’s view and his adaptation. 6 months 1841. The first opium war. Chine try to ban Great Britain’s trades of opium. After conclusion of a peace treaty, Great Britain get an empty island – Hong Kong. And start to build there. Traders are the most interested in this event. Main character the trader (in Chinese is tai pan) Dirk Struan knows a lot about China and its culture. This knowledge helps him to solve many problems and make good deals. I really admire the author’s attention to Asian lives and recommend this book for historical fiction lovers.
