Good Luck! how should I answer, instead of saying you too: so do you? is it correct?

Example:
Friend: 'Have a wonderful day!'
me: 'You as well.'
You as well works instead of 'you too'.

It would be fine to say, "You too!" Or you could say, "Good luck to you, too!" "So do you" would not make sense to a native English speaker.
