Theme: You were hurt in a minor accident inside a supermarket, and you wish to complain to the supermarket. Write a letter to the manager of the supermarket. In your letter say who you are, give details about the accident, suggest how the supermarket could prevent similar accidents.
Dear Sir or Madam,
My name is Mike, I am your “neighbor” and faithful customer for years. Yesterday, like almost every Monday, I was in your supermarket doing my shopping for groceries. Unfortunately, some small unexpected accident has happened and I’ll try to describe what has happened.
It was around 4 p.m. I picked up a basket and started my shopping. Like you now, the first section when someone enters your store is place where you placed fruits and vegetables. I immediately noticed that something was different than usual. Fruits were arranged differently. They were arranged like a pyramid, one above another, not in the boxes like they used to be. When I decided to take an orange, I first looked around from where to take – from the side or from the top of the pile. When I took an orange from the side a whole pile has fallen down! Hundreds of them were on the ground, rolling all around the market. I was so embarrassed. Luckily, no one was hurt because of that action. Immediately one of the workers apologized and started collecting those oranges.
To prevent similar accidents I highly recommend you to arrange those oranges in the boxes like it was before. Or to have a worker to help us in that section.
Yours sincerely.
