Fried Pork in Scoop 锅包肉 Fired Pork in Scoop is special delicious deal in Northeast of China, it makes from pork loin. Before I visited Haerbing, a local friend told me common fired pork in scoop isn't good, only the old style of fried pork in scoop is delicious. This was my first time to hear there were two different styles of them. Before I ate fried pork in scoop in Beijing restaurant, It tasted very sweet, oily and heavy tomato sauce. but It looked beautiful. Because it was two heavy, I didn't want to eat after eating two pieces of it. In Haerbing restaurant, The menu showed the old fried pork in scoop, and only one style. It tasted crisp, light sour and sweet, there were not tomato sauce and less oil. It was much better than I ate before. Guo Bao Rou is my favourite. I had never heard it called Fried Pork in Scoop until I saw it in a Chinese restaurant here. 最好吃!

I ate fried sweet and sour pork in a Beijing restaurant before, it tasted very sweet, oily and was heavily seasoned with tomato sauce but it looked beautiful. Because it was two greasy, I couldn’t take another bite after only two slices. In the Harbin’s restaurant, the menu featured the old fried sweet and sour pork recipe and it was the only one available. It tasted crispy, slightly sour and sweet, there was no tomato sauce and less oil.
