Little translation for internet page
The “Associazione TiPiattIVi – Cittadini attivi di Tiburtina e Pietralata” was founded in 2008 in Pietralata area, to pursue the following goals:
• promotion and realization of social solidarity programs;
• development of urban territory;
• promotion of cultural and social growth for our district;
• organization of conferences, open laboratories and educational pathways for citizens, based on the promotion of local history and respect of the environment.
Last year the Association set up a working group named "Sportello delle memorie" (SdM), with the aim of realizing, filing and protecting local memories and storytellings. To this end, an oral archive has been created, a shared space in which the local community can meet, deliver and collect personal accounts and projects.
Up to now, SdM has organized and conducted formative seminars, in collaboration with the !Istituto di Antropologia dell’Università di Tor Vergata di Roma"; has trained researchers to collect oral memories; has filed and indexed about 20 interview. The working group also collaborates with" Circolo Gianni Bosio", the most important Italian centre for audio collection.

Who has to look after children?
This is an exercise to imrove my English: I have to discuss two opinion about parenthood.
There are two opposite point of view about this topic: for the first parents have to look after children, for the second parents have to work and arrange childcare.
Components of the first group argue that it's important for children to grow up having a parent with them, that love them more than a baby sitter or a kindergarten teacher. From second point of view is argued that children are very expensive, so both parents must work to maintain them. Furthermore, work can be a great satisfaction for parents. Components of first group agree with this, but they argue that work is not all in life: in matter of fact you can work less to dedicate more time to your children.
I think that children need parents' support and, specially in the first part of their life, both parents have to stay with them. It's for that reason that our welfare State allowed a parenthood period. Instead, I don't think parents have to leave their work to stay with children, because this can be depressing and they can becoming oppressive for their children. Furthermore, children need to stay with other children in a kindergarten to have a socially growth.

I introduce my parents
I want to describe to you my parents.
My father has short and black hair, even if he is 65 years old! He dosen't use any specific product to colour his hair: they simply don't became white. He's not tall and he is plump. He wears spectacles and he limps because he had a very important back surgery. Now he's getting well, but he is very lazy, so it's difficult to see him doing his exercises! He dosen't work anymore, so he spents his days at home watching tv and lying on tha hammock. One of his favourite activites is playinig with his two grandchildren (my sister's children) Leonardo and Anita.
My mather is the opposite of my father: she is harworking, friendly and outgoing, in fact she can't pass a minute without working or talking! She's younger than my father, she's 59. She short and slim and she has short and curly red coloured hair. She wears glasses just when she's reading somethings. She works as administrator in the nearby public hospital. She is a little bit crazy and sometimes to much outgoing: she can be embarassing for people dosen't know her!

Heart of darkness
Hello everyone!
I'm reading Heart of darkness with some exercise at the end of every chapter. One of these exercises is to pretend to be Marlow and write a letter to the European Council to inform them about what happening in Africa. So, here my letter, I hope you correct it!
Dear Sirs of the company,
As you know I was hired to sail a steamer up the river to the inner station, but there are strange things happening here that I belive you should know about. When I arrived here, the steamer was in on orrible state: it was on the bottom of the river and it was dirty and full of mud. I started working on it, but when I asked rivets to the agent company in the station, he told me that he coulden't take theme, even if there were a lot of rivets' packs all along the river.
Nobody here seems to want help me to reach Kurtz and the inner station. I think the station manager fell threatned by him, because Mr. Kurtz seems to be the greatest ivory catcher in the whole region and he seems to have destroyed the plain of station manager and his agent to control the zone by their own.
I hope you will take all the necessary action to discover the truth.
Greetings,
C. Marlow.
I know it's very long, so I really thank you!
