Thank you, Yris! I enjoyed our session today and look forward to our next conversation. You are truly a hidden gem. I’m so thankful to have you to support me through this journey. Now that you’re here, I couldn’t imagine not having you by my side to support, guide, and encourage me.

I’ve been taking classes with Yris for 6 weeks now, and couldn’t be happier. Before starting, I had a modest foundation in grammar and vocab but had never spoken Spanish. For me, the idea of speaking felt terrifying—so many ways to get it wrong, and so few to get it “right.” But Yris helped me shift my mindset and realize that what really matters is communication, not perfection. Yris is incredibly warm, patient, and encouraging—a joy to talk to. And she provides thoughtful and helpful corrections tailored to your speaking level. She also adapts her own speech to match your comprehension level and uses great tools to guide conversations in a way that helps you grow. In just a few weeks of meeting twice a week, I’ve gone from barely forming sentences to confidently expressing myself and beginning to convey more complex ideas. If you’re new to Spanish or nervous about speaking, I can’t recommend Yris enough. She’ll meet you where you are and help you build both skill and confidence!

Yris was nothing short of amazing; I was extremely nervous but she helped me relax and she also corrected when I said words wrong. This was my first lesson with Yris but I have already booked two more lessons; I am ready to see how much progress I will make with Yris as my teacher!

Life got busy, and I had to focus on work, but I missed my sessions with Yris. I was so excited for today’s session. Thank you for your patience and kindness, Yris. If you are looking for a tutor. Yris is the only option. She is fantastic and is the best tutor in Italki, bar none.
