Shiori-san is a great choice, whether you’re just starting out with Japanese conversation or looking for higher-level grammar and practice. She’s very knowledgeable, can give nuanced explanations in English if you need it and is flexible. As my skills have grown over the past year, I have changed up the way I approach my studies a few times. At first, I needed help with curriculum (Japanese Uncovered), then I needed help getting ready for a trip to Japan, and now I’ve recently changed my study resources again. Shiori-san has been there every step of the way, accommodating my changing needs. Plus, she has the patience of a saint! Even with all my mistakes, she makes conversing in Japanese over a video call very comfortable! And on top of all that, she’s a lot of fun to talk with. I consider her a great person!
