Hi! my name's Laura and I'm from Italy. I've always had a natural inclination towards languages and language learning/teaching. Nothing makes me happier than helping people learn a language. I love talking about other cultures, cuisines from all over the world, music, film and tv series, DIY, art... basically, nothing bores me!
Ciao! mi chiamo Laura e sono Italiana. Ho sempre avuto una naturale inclinazione verso le lingue e l'apprendimento/insegnamento delle lingue. Niente mi rende più felice dell'aiutare le persone a imparare una lingua. Mi piace parlare di altre culture, cucina del mondo, musica, film e serie tv, fai da te, arte...in sostanza niente mi annoia!我的教學經歷
I have a degree in languages and a C2 Cambridge certification. I worked in England years ago, and back in Italy, I started teaching English informally. By word of mouth, that quickly turned into a full-time job! In the meantime, I kept perfecting my English and my teaching skills. I'm now studying to become a certified teacher of English and Italian!
Sono laureata in lingue e ho una certificazione C2 Cambridge. Anni fa ho vissuto e lavorato in Inghilterra. Tornata in Italia, ho iniziato a insegnare inglese privatamente. Col passaparola, questo si è trasformato in un lavoro a tempo pieno! Nel frattempo ho perfezionato le mie abilità. Ora sto studiando per diventare un'insegnante certificata!我的課程內容與教學風格
Depending on the student's needs, I always try to cover a bit of reading, listening, speaking, vocabulary and grammar. I believe grammar is important but not many people appreciate delving into it, so I usually keep it to a max of 10 minutes per lesson, so that the rest of the time can be dedicated to more engaging activities! When I assign homework, I not only provide the usual exercises, but I also ask my students to write a short text or record their voice.
I ask my students about their interests so that I can offer them tailor-made lessons that focus on their preferred topics.我的教材
