Patient, clear, and adaptable. I believe we all learn at different paces and in different ways. I explain grammar in plain language and connect it to real situations. Todo a tu ritmo. Al final de cada sesión, recibes notas y sugerencias concretas para avanzar.
I tailor lessons to your level, goals, and interests. Two formats: conversation on topics you care about, with readings, useful vocabulary, and clear corrections; or a formal class with grammar, exercises, speaking and writing practice, and role plays. I'm impressed by how Azael can go with the flow as I forgot to send him what I wanted to work on beforehand! I read in prior reviews that he is good at explaining and clarifying concepts that you may struggle with. I brought up two grammar topics that I get confused in when speaking and trying to understand Spanish. I really feel that he was able to go with the flow and I FINALLY understand them in a more solid way. Thank you!!

I've been taking classes with Azael for a few years now and can't recommend him enough. He really understands how to teach and has incredible patience and is one of the most experienced teachers on this platform. I've reached a strong C1 level, and I'm now completely comfortable speaking Spanish with my coworkers and understand everything they say, as well as reading novels and watching Spanish TV and Youtube with ease, and Azael has been a huge part of that. Definitely book a class with him!

Amazing!! My favorite thing about learning Spanish with Azael is that I feel like I am his only student - even though he has a full schedule!! I started knowing nothing about Spanish. Now I have a basic vocabulary, can conjugate basic verbs, count numbers, and also got over my fear of speaking a language I am not fluent in. Thank you very much.

My first one hour lesson was excellent! We went over homework (from my trail lesson) and practiced speaking, and I was given new information to prepare for my next lesson. It was challenging and not overwhelming! He is patient and kind, asking me frequently if I had questions as we moved through the lesson.
