My name is Yunus. I live in Turkey and I’m a native speaker of Turkish. I’ve been teaching Turkish to foreigners for almost ten years. I graduated from Istanbul University and completed my master's degree in the same field. I attended many programs and seminars on teaching Turkish to foreigners. I have “Teaching Turkish as a Foreign Language” certificate which is issued by Istanbul University. I can help you with basic language skills, writing, reading, daily language, exam preparation, pronunciation, speaking and so on. I like to travel abroad, make international friends, and talk about other cultures, languages, literature, history and art.I am open-minded, energetic,frienldy and positive.
As a teacher, I am very patient. I teach my lessons in a planned and programmed way. That's why I first identify your deficiencies and needs in Turkish, then I prepare a roadmap that suits your needs. I teach at all levels. I do my lessons in an active and fun way. With my ten years of experience, I spent a lot of time with students from different cultures of the world so I know what you need for Turkish. It will be a great pleasure for me to help you in your Turkish journey. Be sure that I am going to do my best to help you reach your targets and goals. 2019 - 2022
Turkish TeacherIn 2019, I went to Yaounde, the capital of Cameroon, to teach Turkish through the Turkish Maarif Foundation. Africa is a different geography. So teaching a language in this geography is a very different opportunity for a teacher. English and French are spoken in the country. Teaching there improved my teaching experience a lot. I also learned some French there.

Yunus is a great teacher! I started learning turkish completely from the beginning and found the classes to be engaging and informative. Yunus explains everything really well and jumps right in so that classes are not boring. We starting learning vocabularly right away and then learn one major grammar lesson per class. This keeps the classes focused and I can already make short sentences! I am excited to keep learning Turkish with Yunus.

Yunus is a great teacher with organized lessons. We always start with a brief review at the beginning of class which is very helpful as each lesson builds on the past ones. Yunus also knows Arabic and Persian and shares similarities between the two languages and Turkish! This is definitely a perk if you've studied either of those. Yunus is a great teacher and I would recommend!
