The best way to learn a new language is to focus on conversation from the very beginning. Of course, grammar is essential, but grammatical perfection should not be the main focus. Instead, the focus should be on expanding vocabulary and overcoming inhibitions about speaking. Focusing too much on grammar problems hinders the learning process. A language is alive—it is not learned on paper, but through speaking.
