Hello! My name is Romy, I'm 32 years old, neurobiologist, yoga teacher and a passionate surfer. For the past few years I have been living between The Netherlands, Sri Lanka and Portugal. Here I work as a yoga teacher and I love to surf a lot. Also, I have a Masters degree in Neurobiology. Everything that concerns nature, science or the human body fascinates me. Especially topics about our brain! With years of experience working in a Neuroscience lab you can ask me anything about neurons or I might share some fun facts about our brain. As a teacher I always try to connect to my students (you in that case). When we connect it will be so much more fun to study language together. Plus, I will have a deeper understanding of your interests and learning style. Everyone learns in a different way! I have lots of energy and enthusiasm for teaching, hopefully this energy transmits to you. Thereby, I'm not afraid to correct. I will be clear, give practical lessons and communicate strongly to where you can improve. Only then you will get the hang of a difficult language like Dutch.
