Quyên Lê

I have been learning with Quyên now for a total of around 20 lessons and I am very happy with the lessons so far. I started with pronounciation lessons and now we have been doing textbook materials. My wish for the lessons was that we would focus on speaking and that I feel like Quyên has taken that into consideration when she plans our lessons. She has also noticed that I need practice in listening so we have been doing that also quite a lot. I really appreciate that she tailors the lessons to fit my needs. She also notices and gives feedback on very tiny details in my pronounciation. Even though I myself may not always hear the difference, she is able to explain it in a way that I still can and have improved my pronounciation. She has also been friendly and patient with me and learning has been fun. I would highly recommend Quyên to anyone looking to improve or learn Vietnamese!

I just finished learning northern Vietnamese pronunciation with Quyên Lê. We have had 10 lessons that each lasted 30 min and during those lessons I have learned a lot. Before I have mostly spoken in southern dialect but I wanted to learn also northern dialect. During our lessons she had really good materials for teaching the pronunciation and was able to explain concepts in a way that helped me to understand them. And while some of them I was already familiar with, a lot of it was something completely new or something I had not figured out before. I liked that we had a lot of practice for each sound, vowel or consonant. She also gave me homework to keep practicing outside lessons, which was beneficial for my learning. In addition to all this, Quyên Lê is a kind and encouraging person. I can sincerely say that she is an excellent Vietnamese teacher and I would recommend her to anyone wanting to learn Vietnamese pronunciation.
