Hi, my name is Bilal I live in Istanbul/Turkey. I graduated from the philosophy department and had a master's degree in civilization studies. I am interested in philosophy, etymology, languages, gardening, traveling and of course, teaching Turkish. My passion for the Turkish language pushed me to have an education for it and four years ago I got a certificate for teaching Turkish as a foreign language. Since then I have been teaching Turkish. I am new to this platform and I look forward to making productive lessons with you.我的教學經歷
According to my students' opinion, I am a patient, knowledgeable, and productive teacher. I cite what students said because I feel ashamed to talk such things about myself. But I want to talk about why I am teaching Turkish:
I enjoy teaching because I love to share my knowledge and experience. Teaching Turkish gives me extra pleasure because I am in love with the Turkish language. It is not because I am Turkish. Comparing the other languages I know I find Turkish a very systematic, orderly, and consistent language that includes not many irregularities and exceptions. Just like the math! So I want you to enjoy the beauty of this amazing language.我的課程內容與教學風格
In our lessons in order to progress in a planned and organized way, we follow certain books of different levels to complete the courses (A1-A2-B1-B2-C1-C2). But It doesn't mean we will be dependent on that books. We will use all kinds of different materials related to Turkish. And the lesson book will be a pointer to keep us organized.
In general, I give my lessons in a balanced way regarding grammar learning and making practice also about reading, writing, speaking, and listening. But of course, we can shape the lessons according to the needs of the student.
The practicing part is my favorite actually. I motivate my students to talk and I enjoy listening to their stories.我的教材

Bilal’s Turkish classes create a safe and comfortable environment for learning. He is always well-prepared and thoughtful, starting each class with discussion questions on different topics. The topics are closely related to everyday life, which helps me not only learn the language but also understand more about Türkiye’s current events and culture. Bilal places equal importance on speaking and reading, and thanks to his guidance, my Turkish has improved a lot.
