Jackie

I took the pronunciation class because I’m starting to realize that what I hear and try to imitate isn’t exactly what native speakers are saying or expecting. The class was exactly what I wanted, so practical, Jackie was great at explaining HOW to make the sounds I wasn’t pronouncing correctly and then the practice we did together really reinforced the lesson. I feel more confident already.

I love having lessons with Jackie. She is patient, kind, and knowledgeable. She always comes prepared for our lessons and creates an environment where I feel comfortable speaking and making mistakes, which has helped me become more confident. She gently corrects mistakes, is encouraging, and has a keen sense of what areas need attention so we can work on them together. If you want to improve your French, I highly recommend Jackie!

Wonderful experience, she is a very talented teacher and can tailor a lesson quickly to you and is skilled at explaining things and does a great job with have you learn with practice. Created a very easy and comfortable space to learn.

Jackie is an exceptional teacher who genuinely cares about her students' learning, and the best iTalki teacher I've had. I have been a student for 8 months, and my French has improved a lot. She is knowledgeable, approachable, and supportive, and adapts her lessons to fit each students' needs. Her genuine passion for teaching shines through every interaction. 12/10 would recommend.

J’adorais mes études avec Jackie pendant ces 10 derniers mois. Chaque leçon était bien préparé pour me donner de la structure grammaticale, en plus la grammaire et la conversation sont devenues du fun à la fin, et je suis bien fier des notre progrès. Jackie is an extremely patient teacher. I get quite awkward when I have to speak in French but Jackie made me feel comfortable and prompted me when I really needed it. She also challenged my knowledge and was able to read me enough to know when I hit my limit. She gave me homework every week which I enjoyed because it would encourage me to practise more frequently.
