我的教學經歷
I am patient, kind and I put a great deal of effort into my lessons. Teaching is my passion and as your teacher, it is important to me for us to work together to reach your goals!
I am here to teach English to both children and adults :)
My lessons with children focus on improving their:
- reading
- spelling
- writing
- comprehension and
- general speaking abilities (pronunciation, fluency and accent)
My lessons with adults focus on improving a number of aspects:
- your accuracy and fluency in English
- learning how to conduct more casual conversations
- improving your spelling, grammar and English accent

Having over 8 years’ experience with teaching has certainly provided me with lifelong skills, knowledge and patience too.

Grade 2 teacher and English Specialist TeacherAt Curro Hazeldean Primary school, I became the Grade 2 English Home Language Specialist Teacher for all the Curro Schools across South Africa. This entailed compiling the schools curriculum, assessments and rubrics. I also moderated other schools books and files to give guidance and make sure they are on track with the curriculum.
Teaching at Curro provided me opportunities to prepare for lessons and skills to teach and interact with children from 07:30 - 14:00
2020 - 2022
Grade 1 Teacher and Grade 1 LeaderI taught English at Reddford House The Hills to English Home Language students for 3 years. I was the Grade 1 Leader, which provided me with valuable management and interpersonal skills.
Teaching at this school amplified my creativity and provided me with online-teaching skills when we were required to work 100% online.

Michele is a great teacher, she is so kind and friendly. Our lessons are always well planned so that we always have something to talk about. Michelle is a very attentive teacher who either corrects my mistakes or explains everything whatever comes to mind. She is so patient and gives me a hand if I really need it. I enjoy our classes picking up new vocabs, phrases and learning new things through her life/experience.

The first lesson flew by very quickly, I was very happy to get to know Michelle. She is very friendly and nice, I felt so comfortable chatting with her. She asked my goals and told me how our lessons would go. I really appreciate the way she avoids pauses which I can make when I`m nervous and can`t really say back anything in that moment, she is so helpful and kind.
