I am a native Russian speaker with advanced knowledge of Italian, English, and Chinese, and I am currently studying French. For nearly eight years, I worked as a Russian/English ↔ Chinese interpreter, gaining valuable cross-cultural experience that I bring into every lesson. I’m also currently working toward my teaching diploma, but while I’m completing my exams, I’m here on Italki as a community tutor — so take this chance to learn with me!我的教學經歷
My teaching is tailored to each student’s interests — topics, vocabulary, and level — while also adding grammar and expressions useful for both daily life and advanced discussions. I focus especially on reading and listening, but can also help with writing, pronunciation, and fluency. Lessons are fully customizable, whether for children or adults, beginners or advanced learners. Moreover, I believe that to truly master Russian, it’s essential to explore its literature, history, and traditions to gain a deeper understanding of the country. I tailor my lessons to suit your goals: we focus on topics and vocabulary that interest you, while also including grammar and expressions that are essential for everyday life and advanced discussions. I pay special attention to reading and listening, as they build a solid foundation, but I also help with writing (checking homework, essays) and pronunciation (working on difficult sounds like “Р” or “Ы” etc.). I believe language learning is not just about words, but also about culture — so I bring in elements of Russian literature, history, and customs to make lessons more engaging.我的教材

碩士 - International Relations, Area and Global StudiesI hold a Master’s degree in International Relations, with a specialization in Oriental Studies. My academic path allowed me to combine deep knowledge of politics, economics, and cultures with a strong focus on China and the Asian region. During my studies I gained experience abroad, conducting research, learning languages, and exploring international issues from a truly global perspective. This background helps me bring both cultural insights and a solid academic foundation into my teaching.

I recently had a pronunciation class with Maria, and she made a great first impression. As an advanced Russian speaker (B2-C1), I doubted if I could learn something new, but Maria has a remarkable ear for detail - she perfectly identified subtle nuances in my speech that other teachers usually overlook. Specifically, she pointed out how my native language influences the way I pronounce certain sounds like ши, жи, ци, and лэ.
Besides, Maria has a very warm, communicative, and positive personality, while remaining professional and business-like. As a nervous person, I really appreciated this balance - a stress-free environment combined with a highly competent teacher.
