I try to adapt to the wishes of my students: Some want to discuss or chat, with others I work on material that I have prepared. I use modern, activating methods that practice various skills, speaking, reading and listening. I have material for different language levels and adapt to the abilities of each individual student. I like to use paintings, photos or drawings as a basis for discussion in many (not all) of my lessons and I also provide short stories or exercise material that we work on together. The use of a digital pencil on a whiteboard that I share with the student, perfectly mimics the teaching situation of a traditional classroom. After the lesson, the student gets a short video allowing him to revise the lesson steps. The following lesson begins with a short review phase after which we turn to a new topic. Christine is an amazing tutor, who put plenty of work to prepare materials - they are interesting and engaging. Time flies very quickly while talking with Christine. I found the exercises also interesting and well prepared - not like your typical grammar workbook. I highly recommend working with this teacher!

Christine is an exceptional teacher, her lessons are very detailed and creative, very effective, and she always draws on the German culture, literature, art and music, something that many language learners struggle to connect with, as there are so many distracting resources nowadays, but the depth and breadth of the German culture is there, but often remains hidden.
